In Greene County district court judgments were entered Feb. 28 against Michelle Lyn Paradise, 45, of Jefferson after she pleaded guilty to charges of harassment and trespass She was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge on each charge. She was initially charged with domestic abuse assault- third or subsequent offense. Court costs were $1,198.45. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)
Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment as follows: Jody Lyn Schad, 42, of Jefferson, driving while license barred; Cory Michael Grow, 40, of Jefferson, child endangerment (two counts); and Brett Dwaine West, 41, of Woodward, possession of methamphetamine-third or subsequent offense, and possession of marijuana- third or subsequent offense. Trial dates were set for April 3 for Shad and Grow, and for May 8 for West.
Cases were initiated during the week ending March 1 as follows: Christian James Steburg, 48, of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault impeding flow of air/blood; Beth Anne Laurent, 47, of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental health; and Tamera Sue Keck, 53, of Jefferson, operating while intoxicated- first offense.
